    Position Overview:

    The Accounting Assistant will play a key role in supporting our accounting operations. Basic accounting knowledge is preferred, with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and the ability to handle various financial tasks. The ideal candidate will be someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the financial sector, with a passion for growth and development.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist with basic accounting duties and financial processes.
    • Support the accounting team with data entry and transaction processing.
    • Help maintain financial records and documentation in compliance with established policies.
    • Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required.
    • Exhibit a willingness to learn and grow within the credit union.

    Qualifications:

    • Basic understanding of accounting principles and interest in finance or accounting.

    • Ability to work flexibly around an academic schedule if currently attending school.

    Hourly Wage: $17 - $24 per hour

    Hours: 15-20 hours per week

    Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 9 AM - 4 PM (flexible to accommodate school schedules)
