    Job Title: Engineer III (Gen)

    Location: Richmond, VA(Onsite)

    Duration: 12+ Months with possible Extension

    Job Description

    High-Level Project Overview:
    • This position will support the transport (trans-Atlantic) and installation of large, heavy offshore wind farm components (monopiles, transition pieces, offshore substations) for the CVOW project. Types of support include review of documentation and drawings, and tracking/responding to TQs (RFIs) from our T&I contractor.
    • This position will interface with our T&I contractor as well as other project suppliers.
    Top 3 Required Skills
    • Familiar with ocean transport of large, heavy components
    • Familiar with Vibro and impact piling
    • Familiar with heavy lifts
    What soft skill requirements do you have (team fit and personality requirements)?
    • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
    • Ability to lead, collaborate, or work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams.D
    Preferred Years of Experience:
    • 5+ years of recent and direct related experience
    Education:
    • Engineering degree (marine engineering, aeronautical engineering, Mechanical engineering preferred)
    Are any certifications required:
    • GWO for offshore visits
