The University of Pittsburgh Department of Neurological Surgery is hiring a Post Doctoral Associate.This position will be responsible for establishing the scientific and technological framework for testing the efficacy of spinal cord stimulation to restore movement and alleviate spasticity in people with stroke.
Specifically, you will be responsible for design and lead the clinical and scientific tests development of a spinal cord stimulation system coordinating work with industrial partners grad students and clinical collaborators to ensure timely execution projects tasks lead writing crafting scientific publications describing effect spinal cord stimulation on stroke subjects investigate mechanisms spinal cord simulation combining human experiments computational models.
