    Description

    Property Damage Litigation Attorney (Remote – Texas) Houston | San Antonio | Dallas | Austin

    Our client, a nationally ranked midsize law firm, is seeking a talented Litigation Attorney to join and help build their expanding Property Damage Litigation practice. This is a standout opportunity for an attorney who wants meaningful responsibility, leadership potential, and the chance to help shape a growing practice group within a respected national platform.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage an active caseload involving property‑related disputes (experience in property damage, insurance defense, construction, or PI litigation is helpful but not mandatory).
    • Draft pleadings, discovery responses, motions, and other litigation documents.
    • Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and negotiations as needed.
    • Work closely with partners and senior attorneys on litigation strategy, trial preparation, and long‑term team development.
    • Collaborate with clients, experts, engineers, adjusters, and opposing counsel throughout the case lifecycle.
    • Play a key role in helping grow and expand the firm's property damage litigation team.

    What We're Looking For

    • 3+ years of litigation experience (property damage, PI, insurance defense, or commercial litigation all welcome).
    • Strong writing, analytical, and organizational skills.
    • Confident managing cases independently while thriving in a collaborative environment.
    • An entrepreneurial mindset with interest in helping build a practice group.
    • Trial experience is beneficial but not required — the firm offers training and mentorship.

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Base salary: $150,000 – $200,000+, depending on experience.
    • Unique attorney-fee compensation structure available:
    • Choose a higher guaranteed base with lower fee participation, or
    • Lower base with higher fee participation.
