    The teacher will provide support to children in various settings including intermediate units, public, private, and charter schools.

    SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY

    • Provide effective management skills and techniques for an Early Childhood age level population
    • Communicate with the site director administration, fellow teachers, service staff, parents and guardians
    • Write appropriate and targeted student progress reports
    • Adapt your area of expertise to meet student learning needs
    • Work with parents and other community members to meet student learning needs
    • Preparing, implementing & recording daily lessons
    • Share talents & skills to enhance the student's school program
    • Be alert to individual student learning styles
    • Attend and participate in parent conferences and IEP meetings; provide instruction of students by developing, selecting and modifying instructional plans and material and presenting them using instructional techniques which meet the needs of all students
    CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

    • Commitment to the success of each and every student;
    • Teaching experience in a public or private school, preferably in an urban setting;
    • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team member;
    • Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse children and families
    • Associates degree (or higher) in early childhood education or enrolled in a degree program geared to obtaining Child Development Associate CDA with intensions of graduating in four years with a Bachelor's Degree
