Job summary
The Universal Banker position is responsible for demonstrating excellent customer service in accordance with the Bank's Core Values.Essential Functions include Identifying developing closing sales applying needs based selling techniques to generate product interest actively cross-selling products/services serving as digital expert with ability to demonstrate above average knowledge of all digital channels in an effort to cross sell expand existing relationships driving proactive sales service conversations through inbound outbound interactions meeting customers' needs by conducting accurate needs assessments providing information on products services informing customers on how to conduct their banking business delivering customer service that meets established quality standards processing customer transactions such as deposits withdrawals transfers wires payments accurately efficiently counting organizing safeguarding cash other negotiable bank items assisting customers with inquiries solving problems in professional courteous manner performing daily branch operations such as proving cash draw branch vault scanning teller work filing paperwork opening new accounts ensuring required documentation obtained accurate complying with all established policies procedures maintaining technical professional knowledge by attending educational workshops training reviewing bank policies procedures keeping informed updates upgrades products services staying informed legal policy procedural changes relating retail banking completing transactions accurately ensuring safety bank participating community volunteer events endorsed bank.
