How You Will Make an Impact

Our guests seek luxury, value, and world-class service. As Parts Manager, you will manage and ensure the Parts department is operating efficiently to support the dealership in delivering world-class service. You will impact whether we become our guest's favorite place to purchase or service their Harley-Davidson.

What Winning Looks Like:

• Demonstrating a high "HQ" (Hospitality Quotient) consisting of kindness & optimism, intellectual curiosity, work ethic, empathy, self-awareness, and integrity.
• Directs phone parts and counter sales efforts, including a telemarketing program to keep in contact with customers.
• Analyzes sales, expenses, and inventory daily to maintain profit goals.
• Analyzes departmental operations and storage layout and revises as needed for maximum effectiveness.
• Hires, trains, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance of all parts of department staff.
• Prepares and administers an annual operating budget for the parts department.
• Maintains a balanced inventory consistent with the requirements of the service department and public.
• Forecasts goals and objectives for the department and strives to meet them.
• Establishes pricing parameters in each customer category that generate sufficient and satisfactory profit while maintaining customer loyalty.
• Establishes individual parts inventory levels and balances them for maximum turnover.
• Ensures that parts inventory turns. Cycle counts
• Monitors and adjusts inventory to minimize obsolescence.
• Ensures all parts are properly tagged so that the dealership recovers full credit from the factory.
• Supervises stock order procedures.
• Sets and enforces a policy on the special ordering of parts.
• Provides technical assistance to parts department employees.
• Monitors parts department employees' payroll records
• Coordinates a prompt, efficient, and timely flow of paperwork.
• Directs shipping and receiving efforts to ensure timely processing.
• Develops and utilizes a lost sales tracking report.
• Develops sales promotions.
• Takes advantage of all manufacturers' inventory co-op advertising
• Develops, enforces, and monitors guidelines for working with customers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
• Handles customer complaints immediately and according to the dealership's guidelines.
• Ensures that all dealership purchases are properly accounted for before payment is made.
• Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that may affect parts sales.
• Understand the importance of teamwork and communication in fixed operations.

Skills Needed to Win:

• Experience in Harley-Davidson parts department
• 2 years of supervisory experience
• Excellent communication and managerial skills
• Ability to operate the department profitably within dealership guidelines.
• Experience with Harley-Davidson

Pay: $52, $62,000.00 per year
