    Job Title: Contracts Manager (Construction)

    Job Description:

    Role Overview: As our Contracts Manager, you'll be at the heart of ensuring contractual compliance and mitigating risks across our projects. Based in our Sacramento headquarters, you'll collaborate closely with the COO, Project Managers, and Department Managers to uphold contractual integrity and support seamless project execution.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 6 years' experience in contract review and management, with a strong focus on compliance.
    • Knowledge of construction contracts, including various @types, terms, legal requirements, and negotiation processes.
    • A degree in business or a related field is advantageous.
    • Preferred experience within construction, engineering, or professional services organizations.
    • Proficiency in interpreting legal documents and understanding contract terms and conditions.
    • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors and inconsistencies.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Levelset, DocuSign, and G-Suite.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
    • Skilled in building and maintaining professional relationships across diverse personalities.

    Duties:

    • Support the COO, Project Managers, and Department Managers in ensuring contract, labor, and prevailing wage compliance.
    • Conduct comprehensive contract risk reviews, identifying areas of concern and providing recommendations.
    • Process contracts efficiently, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal standards.
    • Provide training and mentorship to other operations team members.
    • Prepare subcontractor and sub-consultant agreements, maintaining alignment with project requirements.
    • Assist Project Managers in drafting scopes of work, contract amendments, and negotiating contract terms.
    • Maintain and update company contract templates to reflect current standards and practices.
