    Summary:
    The primary responsibility of the Scheduling Manager is managing team members with coordinating customer installation schedules. This role ensures scheduling policies and procedures are communicated and adhered to. The Scheduling Manager is accountable for performance and driving accountability through metrics. They resolve scheduling issues and provide direction and guidance for the Scheduling team.


    Essential Functions:

    • Controls workflow within the team to ensure daily workload is completed in a timely manner
    • Develops processes and oversees the continual review and refinement of operational processes and procedures
    • Identifies and analyzes issues directly impacting Scheduling
    • Develops and implements solutions to optimize maximum productivity and efficiency within the department
    • Leads, plans, and coordinates team in an efficient manner to effectively perform job functions
    • Utilizes metrics to track performance and manage workload
    • Ensures processes and procedures are compliant and consistent with established policies
    • Develops and creates training materials/job aides and conducts training on Scheduling
    • Communicates effectively with internal and external departments to exchange information and resolve issues
    • Prepares and submits reports on work activities, operations, and production
    • All other job duties as assigned

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED
    • 5-7 years of applicable job experience
    • Experience providing solutions through analysis and investigation
    • Experience analyzing continuous quality improvement needs and opportunities and implementing responsive strategies and procedures
    • Experience with job cost accounting
    • Communicates effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors in a professional and courteous manner
    • Interpersonal skills to develop and maintain professional working relationships with builders, vendors, subordinates, and co-workers
    • Exhibits sound and accurate judgment, makes timely decisions, includes appropriate people in decision-making process, and explains reasoning for decisions
    Preferred


    • BA/BS in a related discipline
    • Material resource planning and/or production control experience with Systems Application Process (SAP)
    • Bilingual experience preferred, but not required (English/Spanish)
    • Thorough knowledge of all available products used by the Company as it relates to product installation
