- Drive the development of web apps, deliver the front-end solutions, and collaborate with back-end engineers on designing the supporting REST APIs
- Ensuring high performance on mobile and desktop.
- Own front-end components and drive continual expansion, reuse, and improvement across the board
- Collaborate with the stakeholders, the users and development team to implement state-of-the-art user experiences.
- Translate requirements into wireframes, and conceptual designs into high quality, visually appealing, and intuitive user interfaces and experiences
- Actively perform code reviews and help evolve our code review guidelines to ensure quality code is shipped
- Keep abreast with current trends and best practices in front-end architecture, including performance optimization, accessibility, and usability.
- Mentor other engineers on a variety of topics like front-end development practices, UI/UX best practices, etc.
- Proven front-end development experience building enterprise grade applications.
- Proficient with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JSON.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, Vue or equivalent.
- Demonstrated success developing and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices to facilitate data access, business logic, and workflow.
- Strong problem analysis and problem-solving skills
- Experience developing on Azure or AWS is a plus
- Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment is a plus
- Strong desire to learn new things
- Strong oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills
