    The Vice President, Human Resources – Operations will serve as a member of the HR and Operations leadership teams and provide strategic leadership of the Human Resources function while contributing to executive-level planning and decision-making to ensure the Operations Human Resource strategy is aligned with its business strategies and enterprise HR strategies.


    Responsibilities will include the leadership of:

    • HR business partner services (HR BPs), ensuring Regional/Local alignment in connection with Enterprise HR Functions
    • Implementation of integrated talent strategies as defined by the Enterprise Centers of Excellence (COEs)
    • Labor and employee relations in partnership with Law

    In addition, this person will be an active member of the Mosaic Global HR Leadership Team and participate in the development and execution of enterprise-wide HR strategies, initiatives and activities that will maximize the return on investment for the company.

    They will partner with HR Centers of Excellence to ensure effective alignment with global programs and objectives while leading and developing a team of managers to ensure the enterprise human resource strategy is implemented effectively, consistently, and according to established guidelines and budgets.

    To be successful in this role, the Vice President must have an "enterprise first" mindset, demonstrate strong business acumen, be collaborative and outcome focused, and adept at navigating the matrix.

    What will you do?

    30% - Strategic People Planning: As member of the Global HR Leadership Team (HRLT), contribute to the development and execution of strategic plans for enterprise HR as well as regional Operations to establish short, medium, and long-term goals.

    Participate in the design and definition of HR metrics. Estimate the financial impact of HR strategies on the business. Connect local and global HR initiatives and ensure objectives are aligned.

    Forecast people requirements to support strategic business objectives, which includes succession planning, leadership development, and long- and short-term staffing plans.

    20% - Organization Culture: Drive a healthy, high-performing culture, adapting leading practices in alignment with Mosaic's global cultural model. Coach the Local/Regional Business leadership teams in techniques and practices for building an effective team and inclusive cultural environment.
    20% - People Development: Provide day-to-day coaching for the Operations leadership team.

    Ensure that the Mosaic leadership model and performance management tools are effectively implemented, and employees are engaged to meet their growth and development plans.

    Ensure employees have a mechanism for timely and constructive feedback to ensure they have a clear understanding of their roles, jobs, and performance expectations.

    20% - Business Partnering: Contribute to value creation for Mosaic, providing HR guidance and linking HR strategies to business segment strategic plans.

    Demonstrate value by providing proactive and customer-oriented HR solutions based on the connection with all parts in the HR operating model, on the knowledge of employees and Mosaic objectives.

    This role will oversee labor and employee relations in Brazil, North America, Paraguay, and Peru.

    10% - HR Services: As part of the EBS and COEs governance processes, ensure the effective and efficient delivery of HR services, including total compensation, staffing, training and development, performance, change management, HR administration.

    Appropriately address local/regional needs as required.
    What do you need for this role?
    Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related area. Master's degree preferred.
    15+ years of progressive, professional work experience in HR across a broad range of disciplines.
    Experience in a Senior Leadership position of large size companies in the industry with similar responsibility level.
    Previous experience in Leadership Development and Human Resources Generalist/ Business Partner.
    Strong labor relations knowledge and experience, including negotiating and managing collective agreements.
    Proven ability to manage and get results in a matrixed environment.
    Proven business partnering and consultative skills.
    Proven strategic planning capabilities.
    Strong understanding of business operations and functional requirements
    Demonstrated ability to create culture of adaptability and accountability.

    Ability to anticipate and assess large-scale internal and external issues that may impact the business and take proactive action to mitigate risks.

    Fortune 500 company experience preferred.

    Strong computer skills, which includes proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Teams.
    Advanced Portuguese language skills preferred.
