    THE ROLE

    The Tech Project Manager will play a critical role within our team to oversee / complete complex technology solution installations. This newly created position within Legends growing Global Technology Solutions team will be an expert in planning, executing, managing, and monitoring all project related activities for solution installation and commissioning. This includes managing vendors, subcontractors and internal staff to ensure that all project scopes are completed on time and on budget to the satisfaction of our customers.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Be the lead in person resource for Legends on site at projects.
    • Review project plans and budgets.
    • Be an expert of our industry. Know the latest trends and opportunities to ensure customer satisfaction with solutions provided.
    • Build and maintain trusted relationships with our, prospects, partners, and external vendors.
    • Review engineering specs for accuracy and quality.
    • Deliver projects on time and on budget while satisfying our growing customer base.
    • Assist in education of Legends LED solutions within the team.
    • Maintain existing relationships while identifying new opportunity areas to grow business.
    • From time to time, may be responsible for completing some or parts of installs themselves.
    • Execute upon contractually obligated service requirements.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

    • Engineering or project management degree desired.
    • Experience will be accepted in lieu of the degree but a minimum of 10 years specific to LED construction projects is required.
    • Ability to understand and specify electrical systems including maximum power as well as circuit layout based on provided manufacturer specifications required.
    • Ability to understand and specify data distribution systems specific to the project requirements.
    • Ability to test and commission large scale LED systems including fault identification and troubleshooting of the installed systems.
    • Ability to understand architectural and engineering drawings and drive execution based on planned drawings in a construction environment.
    • Ability to manage subcontract engineering and construction teams in a field environment is critical to project success.
    • Ensure compliance with structural and electrical plans for delivered systems to ensure the long-term integrity and safety of delivered systems.
    • Travel to job sites is required. The estimated travel will be anywhere from 15% to 50% of the time depending upon the project load.

    LOCATION

    Remote. The preferred candidate to be located in Northeast due to accessibility/travel requirements.
