    Description

    Our top client in the private equity space is searching for a hands-on Development Manager with a strong background in .NET development and a passion for leading and mentoring teams to join their team As they embark on a journey to modernize their application architecture through microservices migration, they are searching for a talented Development Manager to lead a team of seasoned developers focused on the .NET codebase.

    *Ideal candidates have experience working for a company held by a private equity investor

    This team works remotely with occasional onsite 1-2 times per month

    *We are only able to consider candidates in the Kansas City/Overland Park area at this time*

    Cannot work C2C

    MUST Have Skills

    • .NET Core
    • AWS
    • Kubernetes
    • Lead/Management experience

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience (10+ years) as a Development Manager or similar leadership role, with a strong focus on .NET development.
    • Extensive hands-on experience with .NET technologies, including C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, MVC, Entity Framework, and Web API.
    • Extensive experience architecting and implementing microservices-based solutions in a cloud environment (preferably AWS).
    • Experience working with colleagues in both onshore and offshore environments, including India.
    • Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team of developers.
    • Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully leading development projects from inception to delivery.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Experience working within an Agile development environment is essential.
    • Prior experience of working in a company held by a private equity investor is a strong plus.
