    Organization: SAFH-Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital

    Position Overview: Responsible for assessing, planning, organizing, and participating in rehabilitative programs aimed at improving patient mobility, reducing pain, enhancing strength, and addressing disabling conditions caused by illness or injury. Fosters trust and collaboration from patients, their families/support system, and other healthcare professionals through skilled patient evaluation, attentive care, and clear communication. Ensures adherence to all relevant regulations and guidelines to safeguard patient privacy and well-being while delivering top-notch care. Offers clinical oversight to assistants and aides, and mentors assigned students in clinical settings.

    Job Description:

    EDUCATION:

    • Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program

    CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:

    • PT-Physical Therapist
    • OR Will also consider approved license applicant or resident training program employee.
    • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider

    TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

    • 2 years of recent relevant experience.

    SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

    • Critical thinking, complex problems solving, decisive judgement and ability to work independently.
    • Knowledge and application of professional practice and regulatory requirements.
    • Must be able to work in demanding work environment, organize multiple priorities completing work duties within expected timelines and requirements.
    • Computer and required technology proficiency/competencies.
    • Demonstrates effective and efficient professional communication (verbal & written) skills as well as interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, teamwork/collaboration, customer service and community relations abilities.
    • Able to retain and apply new knowledge & skills.
    • Keeps abreast of professional practice development and advancement.

    Job Shift: Days

    Schedule: Full Time

    Shift Hours: 8

    Days of the Week: Monday - Friday

    Weekend Requirements: One Weekend Shift a month

    This position may involve handling or administering drug(s) classified as hazardous or potentially hazardous by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) under USP 800 guidelines.

    The salary for this position ranges from $56.45 to $70.56 per hour. Please note that the actual salary for this role might be higher or lower than the posted range and will depend on various factors including geographic location, experience, education, skills, and certifications. Compensation considers departmental equity, training needs, and organizational requirements. Base pay is just one component of the comprehensive rewards package at Sutter Health.
