Description
The Back-end Software Developer will be involved in hands-on development of the Fresh Pork Availability tool to support our Fresh Sales Team and Scheduling Teams.
Job Description
Functional interaction
Provide solutions vs. deliver requests
Develop technical requirements based on user requests
Work with functional team to understand needs
Understanding functional area processes, terminology, technology
Utilize project management skills during SDLC
Support functional testing
Perform Unit testing
Perform Integration testing
Communicate in a non-technical fashion to connect with functional team
Business Analyst interaction
IT Application Development
Write code and tests, build prototypes, resolve issues, and profile and analyze bottlenecks
Design robust APIs to support web applications and large datasets
Design scalable calculation engines to compute large datasets to provide feedback to users
Make recommendation for SOP changes related to system development Processes.
Develop user guides and manuals - technical docs, flow charts, and system specs.
Manage and optimize scalable distributed systems internal and in the cloud
Optimize web applications for performance and scalability
Develop automated tests to ensure business needs are met, and allow for regression testing
Support
Support/debug deployed systems 24/7
Troubleshooting skills
Manage 2nd/3rd level trouble tickets in call center
Write SOP process and troubleshooting
Identify and correct reoccurring issues, review with management
Attend regular cross functional meetings
Continuous improvement development technology architecture
Interaction with outsourced helpdesk
Continuous improvement related to outsourced helpdesk integration, helpdesk training
Team CFG
Participate in IT staff meeting(s).
Participate in Level I, II and III related initiatives.
Participate in CFG sponsored leadership program(s).
Personal skills development - User conferences, technical training, certifications
Participate in applicable user-group trainings
Support CI team initiative
