- Minimum age of 21
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field preferred
- Experience in leading/coordinating community-based/residential referral intake strongly preferred
- Knowledge of Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage a high volume of information
- Valid driver's license and automobile insurance
- Proficiency in computer applications
- Ability to work independently
- Referral Intake: Be the initial contact for referral intake, respond promptly, and document all details for reporting.
- Assessment: Lead and organize assessments, coordinate communications, and analyze individuals' needs for placement.
- Admission: Coordinate admissions, ensure compliance with checklist requirements, and facilitate smooth transition processes.
- Marketing: Assist in developing marketing materials, recommend focuses, and maintain communication with stakeholders.
- Relationship Management: Build relationships with funders, guardians, and stakeholders, identifying new opportunities.
- Organizational Participation: Understand and align with the organization's values in referral and admission planning.
- Professionalism: Pursue knowledge, maintain confidentiality, and build professional relationships.

Acting autonomously, the specialist builds relationships with funding sources, markets open beds, and aligns internal teams to drive admissions and referrals.
Additionally, responsibilities may include involvement in licensing, certification, process development, and recommending quality improvements.As an Admissions Specialist, tasks include managing referrals, conducting assessments, coordinating admissions, participating in marketing efforts, fostering relationships, and upholding professionalism.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year with benefits including 401(k) with 6% match, dental and health insurance, life insurance, paid time off, retirement plan, and vision insurance. The work schedule is Monday to Friday with an 8-hour shift.
