    Our client is looking for an experienced Director of Sales & Marketing to develop and implement an effective sales strategy. The successful candidate will be energetic, organized, and have the knowledge, experience, and desire to help drive sales

    We are looking for a leader to work in their San Diego Office and manage business units of Sales, Product, and Marketing in the United States.

    You have a passionate interest in consumer-packaged goods. You love working in a fast-paced environment with great people who share the same passion in this industry. You will lead the organization's efforts to sustainably growth in the US market. You'll provide strategic leadership across the Sales and Product Teams.

    What you will do:

    • Develop and maintain a Product strategy roadmap.
    • In collaboration with cross functional teams, build innovative products that excite customers and help achieve their business objectives
    • Work with other teams to create a framework of quantitative metrics that demonstrate the success of product evolution and product marketing
    • Be accountable for the success of the capabilities you create in the products you are responsible for
    • Define, own, and communicate the product roadmap and prioritization (including development of business cases) to best determine how to service new customer acquisition, retention and conversion
    • Build and lead effective teams that continually improve and deliver value to their customers.
    • Contribute to the improvement of product leadership capability
    • Cultivate a fun, rewarding, innovative and results-driven culture that lives and breathes client's values
    • Continuous delivery of industry-leading products for partners and customers
    • Creation, communication, and constant evolution of a roadmap that supports growth of the products and reflects the changing needs of customers

    Leading Sales Team in:

    • Identify new business opportunities, increase profitability, and accelerate growth for the Company through the selling of integrated supply chain solutions focusing on sourcing and product management
    • Create and implement strategic sales and marketing plans that successfully achieve business objectives
    • Define processes and data acquisition strategies
    • Understand and effectively communicate the company's value prop, tech, process, and current partnerships
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with management and cross-functional teams, for both technical and non-technical audiences
    • Develop and maintain positive relationships with key client stakeholders at both senior and mid-management levels, including negotiating and closing on major contracts
    • Desire to own projects and exceed expectations, with ability to find solutions and deliver results within a rapidly changing, entrepreneurial culture
    • Use available data to accurately forecast sales and set appropriate performance goals
    • Work with internal teams on behalf of clients to ensure the highest level of customer service
    • Meet with upper management to assess company performance

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • 10-12 years of experience in product and sales management
    • Must have consumer products development experience
    • Must have mass market sales experience
    • Must have managed both sales and marketing positions
    • 5 years of experience building and shipping products
    • Experience creating product roadmap(s) from conception to launch, driving the product vision, defining the GTM strategy, and leading design discussions

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 8 years of people management experience with direct reports
    • Experience managing day-to-day product, and design direction for large scale consumers
    • Knowledge of multiple functional areas such as product management, engineering, or marketing
    • Ability to influence multiple stakeholders, achieve strategic goals and evolve product strategy based on research, data, and industry trends
