    Bridgeline Staffing is seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher / Learning Behavior Specialist for a full-time position in Warrenville, Illinois. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing a positive and inclusive learning environment for students with diverse needs and abilities.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor or Master's degree in Special Education
    • Illinois State Certification in LBS I or LBS II, limited or unlimited (Previous Type 10)

    Duties:

    • Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum for students.
    • Utilize and implement a curriculum aligned with research-based strategies and Common Core Essential Standards.
    • Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary framework with therapists, teachers, administrators and support staff to ensure effective instructional and therapeutic program.
    • Perform student assessments.
    • Utilize the results from student assessments to create IEP and skill acquisition goals.
    • Collaboratively monitor IEP, behavior, and other data to ensure academic progress.
    • Maintain timely and accurate reports and documentation of progress for each student, as required by the school, state, and referral districts (IEP goals and track goals, IEP reports, lesson plans, grades, IEP paperwork.
    • Apply the educational approaches used by Esperanza School – training will be provided.
    • Accompany students on field trips and community outings.
    • Assist in collecting behavior data as directed by the Behavior Therapist/Behavior Analyst and ensure data collection continues in the absence of the Behavior Therapist.
    • Special Education teacher will be trained in Professional Crisis Management (PCM)
