This position will be responsible for the installation of complex integrated security systems to include the wiring equipment and programming of access control systems CCTV digital recorders network recorders and intercom systems for clients How You Will Do It Capable of installing cabling field equipment control equipment enclosures in customer locations according to the national electric code company customer guidelines Reads interprets blueprints diagrams submittals specifications software/systems programs schematics operational product manuals Performs system checks for proper operation Knowledge of computer programs including word processing spreadsheets databases CCTV access control systems media storage Ability to plan organize prioritize work paying close attention to details Able communicate effectively orally writing while establishing maintaining cooperative working relationships Ability analyze information Can work unsupervised complete installation jobs self-motivated complete jobs Completes submits all necessary paperwork related job assignments Capable using hand power tools properly mount secure equipment Feed cables through holes roof spaces cavity walls reach fixture outlets then position terminate cables wires strapping Drill holes wiring wall studs joists ceilings floors Conduct End User training Ability isolate trouble customer network where applicable Required High school diploma GED equivalent Some experience working Commercial Fire Alarm Systems Commercial Digital Analog Camera Systems or Commercial Access Control Systems Understanding function design Alarm Systems Experience IP addressable security devices Must be literate advanced TCP/IP networking skills Required participate After Hour On Call Rotation Must operate truck acceptable driving record Proficient aspects ADT A.I. core card access CCTV systems Strong troubleshooting skills knowledge electronic test equipment Good communication solid understanding communication protocol Excellent customer service Preferred Associate degree technical school program graduate NICET I II III Any Town Fire Alarm Listed Agent Certifications Pay Range starting union rate $21.40 hr increased based experience CBA/rate sheet Benefits provided local labor union collective bargaining agreement posted salary range reflects target compensation role However exceptional candidates bring unique skills experiences exceed typical profile If you believe background warrants consideration beyond stated range we encourage apply To support efficient fair hiring process may use technology assisted tools AI help identify evaluate candidates All hiring decisions ultimately made by human reviewers #TechHiring
