    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE


    Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field and seven years of professional information systems development experience.

    Experience in software development and implementation for Enterprise Resource Planning and/or Enterprise Asset Management products working for a software vendor or a customer who has implemented these types of applications for mid-market to large-market sized environments.

    Must have demonstrated experience with programming in applicable languages, troubleshoot technical problems, and the ability to verify quantitative information produced by systems applications.

    Professional information systems work experience and/or equivalent technical training can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.

    SUMMARY

    This position is responsible for performing advanced analysis, requirement definition, design, coding and testing of one or more complex information system programs, modules and sub-systems.

    The position provides project leadership and support to management of information systems including operations support between users, vendors and other offices within Technology & Customer Service Delivery.

    Under limited supervision by the Manager or team leader, the position manages multiple priorities of various complexity and scope.

    Specific work objectives and requirements are listed in a separate paragraph below and will be communicated by the team leader, with general supervision of projects tasks and results.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


    • Provides functional/technical knowledge and guidance to others, resolving the most complex systems related problems. Prepares detailed program specification and programming changes required to develop, maintain, and enhance complex and moderately complex information systems modules involving reports, interfaces, data conversions, and enhancements.
    • Supports users with software applications support/upgrades, troubleshooting and performing diagnostic and root-cause analysis in order to efficiently resolve user issues. Provides input concerning detail steps taken to resolve application problems including problem reported, problem found, action taken.
    • Design, mapping and process/software gap analysis for enhancements for interfaces, custom reporting and custom applications. Plans and conducts comprehensive unit tests of new and enhanced modules base on technical and detailed specifications. Assists in the planning and execution of system tests.
    • Performs regression and integration testing, and prepares written documentation necessary to support the maintenance and processing of new, upgraded and enhanced modules
    • Provides expertise regarding the integration of applications across the business.
    • Reviews the work of junior staff members and provides feedback to team lead and manager for quality and technique improvements.
    • Prepares periodic status reports and facilitates project meetings as required.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    SPECIFIC WORK OBJECTIVES AND REQUIREMENTS

    ISA III (EAM) Enterprise Asset Management

    Responsible for production support of:

    MARTA's Trapeze Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system, its integrated modules, multiple related custom solutions, as well as multiple integrations with external software systems.

    Responsible for administrating the EAM systems as it relates to:
    system and data configuration, access control, change management, as well as end user support.

    Responsible for performing advanced analysis of EAM system functionality as it relates to:

    troubleshooting system anomalies, assisting internal business units with development of unique business processes, as well as injecting newly released functionality into existing workflows and business processes.

    Responsible for performing advanced analysis of EAM data as it relates to:

    troubleshooting system anomalies, producing elaborate ad-hoc reports using complex SQL queries, as well as exchange of information with external systems.

    Responsible for improving existing EAM configuration which is to include analysis, improvement and/or re-implementation of: existing codebase in multiple languages, current system architecture across multiple tiers, as well as multiple integration methods with external systems.

    Responsible for performing advanced analysis, requirement definition, design, development, testing and deployment of EAM related solutions and reports for MARTA's user community.

    Responsible for designing and building specific EAM related business processes to meet the unique business requirements as well as implementing those processes within the EAM.


    Responsible for management of:
    EAM system requirements, application design and architecture, as well as documentation. This position will be responsible for multiple projects at a time depending on complexity and scope.

    ISA III-ERP Financials

    Responsible for the support and/or upgrade of the Oracle Financial Applications (ERP) solutions to MARTA's user community. Design and build the specific application business processes to meet the business requirements. Design and create custom Oracle Applications (Forms, Reports, PL/SQL, and XML Publisher).

    Provide Financial Functional/technical expertise in the areas of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Budgeting, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Treasury, Purchasing, Inventory, Order Management, iExpense, iSourcing, iSupplier, Grants and Project Accounting.

    This position will be responsible for multiple projects at a time depending on complexity and scope.

    The additional responsibilities that pertain to the ISA III (ERP Financials) position:
    Provides timely weekly management reports to the Oracle Financials team lead (Senior ISA - ERP Financials). Responsible for coordinating and completing assigned tasks in a timely, efficient, and productive manner.

    Responsible for presenting all known issues, recommended solutions, and or corrective actions to known issues related to assigned projects and production tasks to the Oracle Financials team lead (Senior ISA - ERP Financials).

    ISA III-Client Server Applications


    Responsible for supporting and implementing all MARTA's critical systems (Automated Dispatch, C-Cure, Heat, Train Control, Web Timesheet, POS, Primavera, etc.) ensuring that all systems have the recent upgrades for efficient functionality, utilizing Crystal Reporting, Visual Basic.

    Net, ASP.

    NET Software Design, interface design, coding and scripting:
    shell, etc. Design and extract data to populate into MARTA's core systems. Responsible for identifying and defining user task needs, analyze data, and conduct short-range and long-range project planning studies. This position will be responsible for multiple projects at a time depending on complexity and scope.

    ISA III-ERP HR-Payroll

    Responsible for the support and/or upgrade of the Oracle HR/Payroll Applications (ERP) solutions to MARTA's user community. Design and build the specific application business processes to meet the business requirements. Design and create custom Oracle Applications (Forms, Reports, PL/SQL, and XML Publisher). Provide HR/Payroll Functional/technical expertise in the areas of HR, Payroll, iRecruitment, Benefits, Timesheet, iLearning. This position will be responsible for multiple projects at a time depending on complexity and scope.

    The additional responsibilities that pertain to the ISA III (ERP HR/Payroll) position:
    Provides timely weekly management reports to the Oracle HR/Payroll team lead (Senior ISA - ERP HR/Payroll). Responsible for coordinating and completing assigned tasks in a timely, efficient, and productive manner.

    Responsible for presenting all known issues, recommended solutions, and or corrective actions to known issues related to assigned projects and production tasks to the Oracle HR/Payroll team lead (Senior ISA - ERP HR/Payroll).

    ISA III (AVL)

    Will provide second level support to Siemens Transit Master Software to the Authority.

    The analyst will determine the root cause of user reported problems, which could be radio, network, PC, server, or application.

    The analyst will contact each area to put a resolution to the problem. The analyst must have Bus Radio/Automated Vehicle Locator experience, preferable Siemens TransitMaster system. The analyst must be familiar with Windows 2003 server environment, Oracle database and TCP/IP protocol. Experience in Crystal Report Writer is preferred.

    ISA III (AFC)

    Will be the second level support for Automated Fare Collection NextFare application, which includes user administration, card production, hot listing, fraud analysis, web ticketing and pre-paid benefits modules.

    The Analyst will assist users with different functionality of the Nextfare system. The Analyst will also assist users with developing customized reports using Hummingbird Report Writer. The analyst must have Fare Collection System experience, preferable Cubic's NextFare system. The analyst must be familiar with HP-UX, Web Logic and Oracle database environment. Experience in Hummingbird Report Writer is preferred

    ISA III (Trapeze)

    Will provide second level support to Trapeze Scheduling Suite to the Authority.

    The analyst will determine the root cause of user reported problems, which could be telephone switch, network, PC, server, or application.

    The Application Support person will contact each area to put a resolution to the problem.

    Trapeze's scheduling suite includes FX for fixed-route, PASS for para-transit, INFO for trip itinerary planning, WEB-INFO for web trip itinerary planning and IVR for telephone trip planning.

    The analyst must have experience in Trapeze software suite. The analyst must be familiar with Windows 2003 server environment, Citrix and Oracle database. Experience in Crystal Report Writer is preferred.
