    A typical day might include the following:
    Performing design calculations, preparing plans, and directing PS&E and schematic designs for TxDOT and local government projects.
    Using advanced techniques, theory, precepts, and practices.
    Interacting with task leaders, team members, clients, and other consultants.
    Exercising judgment in independently evaluating, selecting, and adapting standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.

    Mentoring direct reports, and conveying knowledge to othersTeam lunches/breakfasts and social activitiesMUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONSBachelor of Science Degree, Civil EngineeringLicensed as a Professional Engineer5+ years of experience with MicroStation, Geopak (or Open Roads) and TxDOT proceduresEffective communication skills to engage with other employee-owners.
