Join our team and play an essential role in enabling others to live as actively and independently as possible
Outstanding opportunity exists for an Emergency Services Behavioral Health Clinician-Hospital Based to become part of our integrated care team Based in the Emergency Department at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth, this clinician will work with the hospital staff to evaluate patients who may need behavioral health services.
Responsibilities:
Works with a multi-disciplinary team in the Emergency Department and medical floors in an acute hospital setting, providing psychiatric assessment and stabilization services to assist in the development of an appropriate clinical treatment plan
Provides psychiatric emergency services to children, adults, and families
Works with a multi-disciplinary team to provide referrals and community supports that best meet the clinical treatment plan
Provides clinical consultation to therapists, agencies, or families as needed
