    Description

    The Senior Director, Enterprise Strategy role will partner directly with department and executive leadership to help solve the most important and complex questions and challenges facing GuideWell as an Enterprise. This role will collaborate closely with executives to develop strategies which will drive growth for the overall Enterprise, while also lead efforts to develop better health solutions that promote affordability across each geography we serve. The ideal candidate will support executive decision-making by leading the development and analysis of enterprise-wide strategies, leveraging internal and external expertise to make connections to larger strategic initiatives, communicating and measuring key enterprise strategies to executive leadership and the board of directors.

    Job duties include but are not limited to:

    • Drive the creation, communication and continuous development of strategies and strategic plans by consulting and collaborating with business leaders

    • Help drive the execution of strategic plans and adoption of new measures of value creation to achieve GuideWell's long-term goals and objectives

    • Collaborate with senior leadership and teams to create market leading strategies and plans that strengthen competitive advantage, while advancing GuideWell's mission and vision, collaborating to drive organizational engagement to key strategies, action steps, and accountability models

    • Surface and examine beliefs as well as biases across senior leadership teams to understand where strategy and strategic planning must support/endorse current thinking and where it must push and challenge it

    • Utilize proven and creative frameworks to catalyze and galvanize dialogue/debate across the Enterprise on key strategic issues

    • Continuously challenge leaders to link and integrate business unit strategies to ensure connection to Enterprise level strategic direction, goals, and objectives

    • Stay abreast of industry, competitive, and innovation trends that can impact GuideWell, while driving awareness and understanding of marketplace changes and rapidly develop and recommend strategies to be taken in response where necessary

    • Provide data analysis and insights to support strategic assessment activities and prioritization of future opportunities, while continuously ensuring the analysis of competitive intelligence and market research from internal and external sources, translating key themes into meaningful implications/actions

    • Embed long-term strategic thinking into ongoing business processes within GuideWell

    • Contribute to strategy development for potential diversification initiatives and ensure alignment of these initiatives to GuideWell mission and strategic plans

    • Continuously identify and lead high-impact enterprise focused/oriented change

    • Lead, develop, motivate, and manage a high-performing team that meets key enterprise strategy and market insights related objectives

    Job Requirements:

    • 10+ years' related work experience. Experience Details: Broad-based health care experience, payor focused, including experience in payor related strategic planning or corporate development

    • 5+ years' direct supervisory/management experience

    • Related Bachelor's degree or additional related work experience

    • Experience working in the context of a large, complex organization where working across boundaries and leading through influence are critical to success

    • Demonstrated understanding of tracking and applying market, customer, competitor, technology and innovation trends

    • Excellent relationship skills; highly collaborative – able to build rapport and establish credibility quickly with all levels of the organization

    • Executive presence: able to comfortably interact with, present findings, analyses and information to, and influence, senior leaders and other key stakeholder groups

    • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and influencing skills

    • Excellent leadership skills and successful track record of establishing or participating in great teams

    Preferred:

    • Master's degree Related discipline

    General Physical Demands

    Annualized Salary Range: $160,000 - $260,000

    Typical Annualized Hiring Range: $160,000 - $200,000

    Final pay will be determined with consideration of market competitiveness, internal equity, and the job-related knowledge, skills, training, and experience you bring.
