    Allied Position Job Notes:

    Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

    Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

    Job Details:


    • Work 4 days per week, 10 hours per day

    • One weekend of call every 4 weeks required

    • Call requirements include 1-2 days per week every 4 weeks

    • Support cardiac catheterization procedures by preparing lab and operating essential equipment

    • Operate fluoro imaging and digital image acquisition systems

    • Document patient information and hemodynamic measurements accurately

    • Maintain stringent aseptic technique and patient safety standards

    • Collaborate with medical team to optimize patient care and departmental efficiency

    • Serve as radiation safety representative during X-ray usage

    • Work with STEMI patients, acute myocardial infarction cases, coronary interventions, structural heart cases, and electrophysiology cases

    • Required certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA only

    • Graduate from accredited school of Radiology Technology, associate's degree in healthcare-related field, or acceptable equivalent required

    • Bachelor's degree preferred

    • 0-1 year experience in acute care setting preferred

    • Texas state licensure required (MRT or LMRT by TMB)

    • Preferred certifications include RCIS, RCES, RCS, ARRT registrations, or ARDMS credentials

    • Adhere to organizational dress code and attendance policy

    • Temp to perm possibility available

    Facility:

    This healthcare facility is the largest and foremost acute care medical facility in the region, overlooking Corpus Christi Bay. The hospital offers a full range of diagnostic and surgical specialty services in cardiac, cancer, and stroke care, featuring a Level II Trauma Center staffed with specially trained physicians and nurses. The facility houses state-of-the-art emergency department, ICU, Cardiac Cath Lab and surgical suites, and serves as a teaching facility affiliated with the Texas A&M University System Health and Science Center College of Medicine. The hospital maintains accreditation as a Chest Pain Center and Joint Commission Stroke Team.
