Job summary
The Freight Broker is responsible for all aspects of strategically sourcing of capacity for an assigned account(s) and will act as an advocate for the customers supply chain to the carrier community in the marketplace on behalf of M2 Logistics,as well as championing the client internally.
- Consistent engagement with the Account Manager to understand growth opportunities
- Maintain understanding of the account Funnel of Opportunities within customers supply chain and work with Account Manager to Pursue/Sell & close with customer.
Includes responsibilities such as resolving business escalation issues, leading implementation dedicated and repeat carrier solutions and ensuring that our Carrier Sales group has a solid understanding customer requirements so they can successfully cover freight allocated to Market teams.
