    Job Description
    American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for inpatient rehab with Illinois SLP license and Epic charting experience.

    Responsibilities
    Work in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
    Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
    Serve patients of all ages requiring speech-language pathology services
    Uses Epic EMR system; Epic charting experience required
    Facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center
    Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, swallowing, and communication disorders
    Collect case history and integrate input from patients, families, and other professionals
    Develop and implement care plans with measurable and achievable goals
    Modify therapeutic approach based on patient response
    Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary medical teams and provide family education and training
    Complete documentation according to regulatory and organizational standards
    RTO not to exceed 7 days per 13 week contract
    No local candidates accepted; candidates must live more than 50 miles away
    Previous contingent workers at this facility must have a 6-month break in service after a one-year assignment before returning

    Requirements
    Master's degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences, Communication Sciences, or related field
    Illinois SLP license required if applicable
    Current BLS (AHA) certification
    Completion of Clinical Fellowship or at least 1 year of clinical experience
    Experience with Epic charting required
    Level 1 trauma experience required
    Fluency in English (speak, read, write)
