    Hedrick Medical Center is excited to invite upcoming graduate Registered Nurses to apply for our Nurse Residency Program in the Medical Surgical Department.     Our nurse residency program is designed to provide you with structured mentorship, education, and professional development, ensuring a smooth transition from student to professional nurse.

    Shift Details


    Part Time Nights

    Your Responsibilities

    • Utilize the nursing process to deliver exceptional patient care.
    • Delegate patient care tasks and supervise other patient care staff.
    • Coordinate care plans for assigned patients, collaborating with the healthcare team to achieve optimal outcomes.
    • Demonstrate proficiency while adhering to policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.

    This position is primarily based at Hedrick Medical Center but may require floating to Wright Memorial Hospital as needed. Both locations work collaboratively to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.     Our 25-bed acute care hospital offers a wide range of services, including:

    • 24-hour emergency services
    • Inpatient and outpatient diagnostic testing
    • A Women's Center featuring 3-D mammography
    • Inpatient and outpatient surgery
    • Inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services
    • An Intensive Care Unit with eICU capabilities
    • A specialty clinic and primary care offices

    Job Requirements

    • Less than 1 year of applicable experience
    • Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross
    • Registered Nurse (MO) license via National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
    • Associate Degree in Nursing
