$ per hourOur client in the retail space is looking for a second UX Researcher to add to their newly formed UXR team that will play a key role in shaping the UX design for mobile and web properties. In this role, you will find solutions to complex business problems while maintaining the integrity of the product and brand standards. The ideal candidate has a passion for creating exceptional user experiences and a strong commitment to advocating for the user.
This role requires you to be onsite 5 days/week in Houston, TX. This is a contract-to-hire position that will be paid hourly during the initial contract period.


Responsibilities:
Partner with design and product stakeholders to elicit research questions and goals.
Design qualitative and mixed-method UX research studies that span the product lifecycle from discovery to usability.
Lead primary research studies from end-to-end, including screener development, moderation, analysis and reporting.
Present findings to business stakeholders.
Influence cross-functional teams with your analysis and findings, and design actionable steps to resolve the problem.


Qualifications:

Experience level:

ExperiencedMinimum 3 years of experienceEducation: BachelorsProven experience conducting user research in a professional setting, preferably within a software development or digital product environment.

Strong knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods, including usability testing, interviews, surveys, and data analysis.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present research findings and insights to cross-functional teams.
Experience working with UX/UI designers, product managers, and developers to influence design decisions and prioritize features.
Familiarity with design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma is a plus.
