Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to provide a variety of specialized technical and investigative work associated with Complaints, Review, and Oversight functions within a Major Commands (MAJCOM) Inspector General office.

Duties

Participates in the development, review, and implementation of MAJCOM Inspector General (IG) policies and procedures.

Provides guidance on procedures and processes for processing complaints, FWA disclosures, Congressional, etc., to Inspectors General (IG) at installations of the command.

Conducts investigations of complaints and resulting investigations that cover a diverse range of subjects and allegations.

Manages the Freedom of Information Act/Privacy Act release of IG records.
