    Description
    Looking for a Controls Engineer to join a Medical Technology company based in Irvine. The qualified candidate will handle all electron mechanical systems.


    Required Skills:

    • Experience with control of complex systems (lasers, RF, vacuum, thermal).
    • Experience with realtime programming.
    • Proficiency in LabView and other control systems.
    • Technical experience with standard interfaces; Serial, GPIB, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, etc.
    • Experience with R&D electronics equipment; delay generators, oscilloscopes, pulse generators, etc.
    • Past experience with version control of code and proper coding practices.
    • Experience selecting and using cameras to acquire images.
    • Experience analyzing acquired images to calculate key laser parameters (centroid, beam size, jitter, etc.)
    • Experience with feedback loops and control algorithms.
    • Willingness to act as a mentor to younger programmers.
    • Experience with hardware to support the control of the system.
    • Selfmotivated individual that works well with a team.
    • Proficiency in standard office software.
    • 5+ years experience, and a BS in Engineering or Science
