    The CNC Setup Operator utilizes advanced skills to set up, operate, and optimize CNC machines for precision machining of high-quality components.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Proficient in the setup and operation of CNC machines
    • Strong understanding of machining principles and precision measurement
    • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
    • Skilled in troubleshooting and problem-solving for CNC machine issues
    • Knowledge of tool selection, cutting speeds, and feeds
    • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
    • Effective communication and teamwork skills
    • Familiarity with CNC programming is a plus
    • Ability to work independently and follow safety guidelines
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Requirements

    Education/Experience:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Basic computer skills
    • Basic math and measuring skills
    • Experience with precision measurement equipment preferred

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to lift and carry up to 32 pounds
    • Extended periods of standing and walking
    • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for handling tools and materials
