    Electrical Consultants, Inc. (ECI) is a leading power engineering consultant firm providing services to electric utilities, energy developers, and industrials throughout the U.S.

    We are opening an office in the Chesterfield, MO area and have an opening for a substation project manager.

    Responsibilities

    The successful candidate will be responsible for:

    • Conceptual, preliminary, and final detailed design of new, upgraded, and expanded substations
    • Material procurement, construction, and commissioning/startup support through energization
    • Scoping, budgeting, scheduling, planning, executing, monitoring, and reporting of substation projects and proposals
    • Overseeing project teams of engineers, designers, drafters, and support staff

    Requirements

    To be successful in this role, you must have:

    • Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
    • 10+ years' project engineering experience
    • 2+ years of demonstrated project management and leadership experience
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong organization and planning skills
    • A commitment to quality and accuracy
    • Advanced knowledge of power engineering principles
