Orange, CA


1st Shift:
Monday - Friday, 5:30am - 3:30pm


Pay:
$ $20.00 hr

Summary

Work in the Tool Shop doing mold change over and bench work with little to no supervision.


Organizational Relationships:

• Reports directly to Tool Shop Manager
• Interfaces with Adjusters/Set Up personnel and Machinist.

Responsibilities

• Correctly installing mold inserts.
• Making sure that all o-rings and bolts are installed correctly.
• Checking air systems are working properly.
• Checking for water leaks before releasing to molding department.
• Reporting to Tool Shop Manager of any problems with molds being installed, like mold damage or molding surfaces needing polishing or bead blasting.
• Notifying molding that the changeover is completed.
• Keeping work area clean and organized.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand verbal communications and follow directions.
• Mechanical Skills using hand tools.
• Previous experience in Tool Shop is preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to twist, turn, bend.
• Lifting weights up to 65 lbs.
• Recognize colors.
• Stand/walk for extended period of time (10 hours +).
