Job summary
A certified recreation Therapist is responsible for the delivery of services to patients within the Recreation Therapy Departments scope of service. Reports to the Inpatient Therapy Supervisor.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited school in Therapeutic Recreation preferred Eligible for or currently certified as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation specialist by the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Recreational therapist Licensure in the state of Virginia Equal Opportunity Augusta Health recruits hires and promotes qualified candidates for employment without regard to age color disability gender identity or expression marital status national or ethnic origin political affiliation race religion sex including pregnancy sexual orientation veteran or military discharge status and family medical or genetic information.
