    Description

    Job Summary:
    We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team.

    As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and supporting the medical staff in various administrative and clinical tasks.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform various clinical tasks under the supervision of healthcare professionals, including taking vital signs, collecting patient history, and assisting with examinations
    • Administer medications as directed by physicians or nurses
    • Conduct basic laboratory tests and assist with diagnostic procedures
    • Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits, ensuring cleanliness and organization
    • Assist with patient education and provide support and guidance to patients and their families
    • Maintain accurate and uptodate medical records, including entering patient information into electronic health records (EHR) systems
    • Handle administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, managing phone calls, and coordinating referrals
    • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and protocols

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred
    • Certification as a Medical Assistant is strongly preferred
    • Solid understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and basic pharmacology
    • Proficiency in performing vital signs measurements and basic laboratory tests
    • Experience with medical coding and billing procedures is a plus
    • Knowledge of X-Ray procedures is desirable but not required
    • Basic life support (BLS) certification is required
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to provide compassionate patient care
    • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
    • Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment while maintaining accuracy
