    We are looking for a highly motivated person to fill this full time position in our Transportation Services Department at an onsite position with one of our valued customers.

    Major Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Ability to identify opportunities and initiate projects independently
    • Coordinate with multiple warehouses
    • Work closely with the Account Management Teams of carriers and manage carrier performance
    • Analyze performance data and create efficiency improvement opportunities
    • Manage ongoing delivery projects, delivery engagements and onboarding of new carriers and programs
    • Escalation Management and Root Cause Analysis
    • Support implementation of safety and security measures with carriers
    • Create work plans and milestone definition
    • Ability to create and provide presentations on performance levels to vendors and customer
    • Proactive approach to cost saving, consolidation, and on-time performance initiatives
    • Define and deliver upon critical success factors
    • Multitask and Reprioritize work as needed
    • Responsible for the Customers Freight Pay process
    • Managing a team based in various locations throughout the Americas
    • Coordinate team training, career development, and performance management
    • Travel to customer, supplier and warehouse locations as required

    Qualifications

    • Min 5+ years Transportation/Logistics experience
    • Min 3+ year Supervisory & Management experience
    • Operational knowledge of all modes of Transports (sea, road, air)
    • Operations and Strategic/Account Management experience preferred
    • Demonstrated successful track record in project implementation
    • Working knowledge on dispatch, track and trace, and TMS systems
    • Dynamic personality; accustomed to hosting meetings and driving change within an organization
    • Strong analytical, time management, and communication skills
    • Self-starter with a highly motivated, results-driven attitude
    • Availability to travel 30%
