    Job Summary
    The Meat Cutter delivers the highest level of customer service and satisfaction by following the companys meat merchandising plan and trimming /preparing standard cuts of meat as outlined in the Meat Cutter Resource Manual.

    Responsibilities
    • Uses knives and power equipment, cuts and/or packages authorized beef, pork, and poultry items
    • Prepares and places meat cuts and products in the display counter according to Save A Lot procedures
    • Assist with product ordering
    • Receives, inspects, and stores meat upon delivery, to maintain the cold chain and ensures meat quality
    • Ensures excellent sanitation and quality standards are met daily which adhere to Save A Lot policy
    Qualifications
    • Experience preferred but willing to train a motivated applicant
    • Must be 18 years of age
    • Experience using manual pallet jacks and hand tools
    • Experience with power equipment, including knives, wrappers, scales, slicers, cubing machine, and meat cutting power saw
    • Ability to regularly lift 50lbs
