- Title: Engineering Technician
- Location: Carmel, IN/Greater Indianapolis area
- Pay Rate:
- $18-20/hr for Tech 1
- $20-23/hr for Tech II
- Schedule: Mon-Fri with possibility of overtime. Expect early mornings and late nights. But hey, you'll get paid extra for that!
- Duration: 6-month contract with an opportunity for permanent hire
- Must Haves:
- Passion for engineering
- Ready for some manual labor and night shifts
- Background in construction
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to read blueprints
- Comfortable with technology – our client is all about that digital life

Overview:
Looking for a Materials Engineering Technician for a top engineering consulting firm in Carmel, IN. You will be involved in testing, observation, and inspection of construction projects like apartments, hotels, and retirement homes. Communication is key as you will liaise with the PM, other technicians, and the client about project requirements. Day-to-day, you'll be at the job site(s), handling responsibilities, and then heading home. Field and lab work, soil testing, and occasional concrete duties are on the agenda. Communication skills and compliance with safety standards are a must. Don't forget, a valid driver's license is required for using the company vehicle – yes, you get to take it home too!
