Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will have an active role in the following:
Executes the structural engineering tasks assigned or as otherwise directed under general supervision.
Performs structural CA tasks assigned by senior engineering staff including submittal review and response to project RFI's.
Assisting in the preparation of construction drawings, contract documents, and structural calculations.
Maintains active awareness of the production schedule for responsible task(s).
Ability to apply building code provisions and interpret material design standards.
Writing technical studies and reports.
Participates in team meetings to discuss project issues, coordination with other disciplines and technical issues as well as attending client meetings and discussions.
The candidate will have the opportunity to apply their skills on a variety of projects involving commercial, industrial, public improvements, utilities, and residential.
