Job Summary
The New Business team sets the agenda for the rest of the US offshore organization.
The NewBusiness team is responsible for driving Avangrid's offshore wind portfolio's growth by advancing orexpanding market opportunities, acquiring new lease areas, and leading the bidding andcontracting of existing resources.
The Senior Analyst will play a key role in driving, executing on,and reporting on the team's strategy and will assist with all activities regarding emerging markets,lease area auctions, offtake agreements, and ESG reporting.
Job ResponsibilitiesNew Leasing and Emerging Markets
Research, evaluate, and report on relative priority of future leasing opportunities andemerging markets
Support and lead engagement with working groups, trade associations, and relevantstakeholders related to several new leasing and market-making workstreams
Assist in preparing materials and tools for participation in wind area lease rights auctions
Securing Offtake/RFP Bid Preparation
Support bid team leads by carrying out integral project management tasks and refocusing biddirection based on changing business needs
Collaborate with writers, engineers, and stakeholders to write compelling bid narratives
Manage local stakeholders and internal working groups
Market and Competitor Analysis; General Reporting
Maintain full awareness of the latest commercial developments that have the potential toimpact value and risk of current and future projects, communicating news to the New Businessteam and senior management personnel
Provide robust analysis of market information relating to offshore wind which can inform NewBusiness commercial activities
Monitor and assess interconnection queue positions
Lead the company's Environment, Sustainability, and Governance (ESG) internal reporting asit pertains to Avangrid's fully owned offshore wind projects
Skills And Requirements
Experience: 2-5 years' professional experience; preferably in renewable energy or environmental /sustainability issues.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in relevant area; master's degree preferred

Experience in energy markets, policy, and/or offshore wind is preferred.
