    Sales Manager

    Location: Cincinnati, OH

    Compensation: Salary range starting at $85k (DOE)

    Position Overview:

    We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager (metal manufacturing experience preferred) to lead our sales team in building and nurturing customer relationships while boosting sales growth. The Sales Manager will have a crucial role in executing sales strategies, predicting revenues, and supervising all sales activities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Directing and coordinating sales activities to meet revenue targets.
    • Developing and executing national sales action plans and marketing strategies.
    • Creating sales budgets and projections aligned with organizational objectives.
    • Monitoring and analyzing sales statistics using key quantitative metrics.
    • Handling and resolving customer complaints related to products or services.
    • Acting as the main point of contact for internal and external partners.
    • Creating and managing quotations for customer RFQs.
    • Identifying emerging markets to take advantage of new sales prospects.
    • Being ready to travel to customer sites when necessary.

    Supervision:

    This position reports to the Vice President of Sales and may involve overseeing employees in sales, marketing, and customer service teams, as well as coordinating outside representatives' activities.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree is a plus.
    • Minimum 5 years of sales experience with a proven record of building new customer relationships.
    • Prior experience in metal manufacturing operations is preferred.
    • Good understanding of phone etiquette, customer service practices, and computer proficiency.
    • Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and work with component models.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to excel in high-pressure settings.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
    • Demonstrated credibility establishment, task prioritization, and confidentiality maintenance.

    Work Environment:

    The work environment may involve exposure to a manufacturing setting with moving mechanical parts and varying temperatures. Adherence to safety protocols, including wearing appropriate safety equipment, is mandatory.
