    Description


    The primary purpose and function of the position is to provide asset management, PMO, Safety, quality, engineering and maintenance expertise as this position is reporting to the CEO.

    The Continuous Improvement Manager will have 3 direct reports.


    Responsibilities:
    Develop and implement management systems that drive behaviors to deliver results
    in Safety and Quality. Ensure quality and safety is documented, trained, and
    monitored.
    Responsible for identification, installation and the safe operation of new assets.
    Monitor for compliance to safety rules and regulations, and coach for improvement
    as needed.
    Lead the integration of newly acquired assets and serve as Project Manager (PMO)
    and work with machine vendors as well as internal cross functional team members.
    Development of robust project plans to ensure project objectives and timing
    are met.
    Lead/facilitate meetings with other key members of project team and senior
    leadership.
    Communicate within plant personnel, cross-functional team members, and
    with senior leadership.
    Document work, corrective actions, accountabilities, and monitor for completion.
    Manage Engineering and Maintenance Staff and assist with various projects as
    needed.
    Create a resource plan for Engineering and Maintenance personnel, that includes
    anticipating separations, retirements, and increase/decrease in business needs.
    Review maintenance work orders and approve work plans as needed, as well as
    purchase materials and equipment.
    Participate in establishing needed budgets and monitor adherence to budgets.
    Coordinate with other functional managers/leaders as needed to formulate
    objectives that meet overall business requirements.


    Qualifications:
    BS in Engineering or related discipline
