    Senior Consultant – Data Management

    Job Brief

    Join our dynamic Financial Services consulting team as a Senior Data Governance/Management Consultant, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of data management. In this position, you will work closely with our multinational investment banking clients, contributing to mission-critical Data Governance and regulatory programs. As a key member of our consulting team, you will engage with senior stakeholders and take ownership of deliverables, ensuring effective and consistent Data Management within the rapidly evolving landscape of AI and ML.

    Responsibilities

    AI/ML Integration: Spearhead the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) techniques to optimize data management functions, leveraging the latest technologies to enhance the overall quality of the data.

    Data Quality Automation: Implement AI-driven Data Quality (DQ) frameworks, indicators, and assurance standards to proactively identify, prioritize, and remediate data quality issues. Aim to automate DQ processes to prevent problems before they impact risk and regulatory reporting.

    Business Process Enhancement: Document business processes, controls, and technical data flows for in-scope reports and CDEs. Chair data quality working groups, driving the creation and adoption of enterprise data governance policies and standards.

    Strategic Data Quality Remediation: Collaborate with downstream business end-users for tactical data quality remediation. Work with upstream source systems' Operations and IT for strategic data quality remediation efforts, providing ongoing progress monitoring and reporting to senior management.

    Innovation in Tooling: Configure cutting-edge Data Governance tools and supporting technologies to establish standardized solutions, integrating modern approaches and standards into the firm's day-to-day operations.

    Business Glossary Implementation: Map CDE ownership across the organization and implement an enterprise-wide solution for a comprehensive business glossary.

    Stakeholder Communication: Engage in strong verbal and written communication, including technical writing skills, to convey complex concepts effectively to diverse stakeholders.

    Requirements / Preferences

    Advanced Financial Expertise: Demonstrate significant experience and a proven track record in delivering major risk and finance initiatives within large and complex financial institutions.

    Technological Proficiency: Deep understanding of risk and finance processes, coupled with expertise in technologies and data systems that underpin these processes.

    Regulatory Insight: Strong knowledge and experience in regulatory change management, providing a strategic edge in navigating evolving regulatory landscapes.

    Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite (PPT, Excel, Project, SharePoint).

    Diverse Background: Previous experience in Business, Risk, Finance, Data Analytics, Operations, Controls, Systems Analysis, and Quality Assurance.

    Analytical Prowess: Proven ability to elicit requirements, generate comprehensive process documentation, analyze data for business-relevant conclusions, and proficiency in data visualization techniques and tools.
