- Champion a positive, safe work environment for all employees, customers, suppliers, and vendors.
- Ensure customer service level agreements, expectations, quality, and production standards are met.
- Drive growth through new opportunities with existing customers, adding new customers, and optimizing operations to upgrade materials.
- Review and lead analyses of activities, costs, operations, sales, scheduling, and forecast data to achieve positive results across all departments, including Commercial Sales, Safety, Environmental, Operations, and Transportation.
- Responsible for the facility's profitability and improvements to gross margin.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and company-specific environmental, health, and safety policies, rules, and regulations.
- Oversee team development, including hiring, training, and motivating staff to achieve peak performance.
- Mandatory experience in metals recycling.
- Non-Ferrous and Ferrous processing and production experience required.
- Advanced organizational and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mentality.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with effective communication skills.
- Bi-lingual abilities in English and Spanish are a plus.
