- Analyzes product or equipment specifications and performance requirements to determine designs which can be produced by existing manufacturing or processing facilities and methods.
- Ensures manufacturing compliance with work procedures and instructions
- Ensures all work is in compliance with environmental, health and safety standards, industry specifications, customer requirements, company standards and related specifications.
- Exposure to Lean and Six Sigma Tools, at minimum a willingness to learn and apply the tools.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Self-motivated, committed, with a bias for action that delivers results
- Understanding of metal manufacturing processes
- Bachelor's degree (BA or BSc.) or higher in Engineering from four-year college or university
- 3D modeling, 3D printing, and Solidworks experience
- 3-5 years related technical experience

Under general direction of the Operations Manager, the Process Engineer develops and optimizes methods to maintain process control and make significant improvements to safety, quality, productivity, and cost
JOB DESCRIPTION:
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Define process controls and drive best-in-class performance in quality and first-time yield.
Identifies, analyzes, and delivers on process improvement to eliminate casting and post casting defects. Six Sigma and Lean tools to aid in this effort.
Supports production to ensure attainment of business goals, including addressing quality issues, working directly with manufacturing personnel to ensure a smooth-running operation.
