    TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Charlotte, North Carolina.

    Experience Required: 2 years of strong high acuity Pediatric ICU experience – must be comfortable in a high acuity, fast paced environment.

    EPIC exp. , experience with Artic Sun, EVDs, Camino device (ICP and temp monitoring device), Belmont Rapid Infuser, management of critical care vasoactive drip titration, management of invasive lines – ART lines/CVP, aseptic and sterile techniques, basic dressing changes, ventilator and trach management, HOFV management, oral/nasal suctioning, g-tube/j-tube management, feeding tubes, chest tubes, epidurals, PCAs, sedation and analgesic drip management, Foley insertion and management, Alaris & Medfusion pump management, bedside procedures with providers, discharge skills, CRRT experience
    Ability/Competency to float to Pediatric CVICU – discussed during interview

    RN:
    Varies on acuity: 2:1, 1:1, 1:2.

    Floating:
    Pediatric CVICU, NICU, Neonatal PCU, Gen Peds – will float as needed.

    Weekend Rotation:
    will be required to work 2 Fridays, 2 Saturdays, 2 Sundays and 2 Mondays every 6-week schedule. The combination of the 2 Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays can be grouped together or worked separately as long as those eight (8) shifts occur within the 6-week period

    No call for travelers, if the PICU cannot utilize them, they may be floated to PCVICU, Peds Progressive, NICU or general Peds units within LCH
