    Job Description


    American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical Surgical ICU night position in Michigan, requiring a Michigan RN license and open heart training.

    Responsibilities

    • Position is in a Medical Surgical ICU setting
    • Care for critically ill adult patients pre and post-operatively
    • 12-hour night shifts from 6:42 PM to 7:12 AM
    • Three weekend shifts required per four-week schedule (Friday and Saturday)
    • No on-call responsibilities
    • Uses Epic EMR system
    • Navy blue scrubs required
    • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans
    • Assess and coordinate care for patients and families with complex physical and psychosocial needs
    • Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
    • Maximum of 5 days of requested time off will be considered
    • Local travelers are permitted but may only complete one travel assignment

    Requirements

    • Active Michigan RN license required
    • Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications required
    • Minimum of 2 years SICU experience required
    • Open heart training required
    • Recent ICU skills checklist and two supervisory references from the last two years required
    • Permanent address must be outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
    • Epic EMR experience preferred
    • Previous travel assignment experience preferred
