Office Manager / Accounting Manager
About the Role
Hupp Stiverson Vault Company seeks a skilled and reliable Office Manager / Accounting Manager to take ownership of the company's accounting and office operations. This is a critical role for an organized, detail-oriented professional who enjoys managing full-cycle accounting while serving as a trusted point of contact for clients, vendors, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Operations
- Manage full-cycle accounting, including general ledger maintenance
- Prepare and issue customer invoices accurately and timely
- Oversee accounts payable, vendor payments, and expense tracking
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
- Assist with month-end and year-end close and financial reporting
- Coordinate with external CPA or accounting firm as needed
Client, Vendor & Office Management
- Onboard new clients and maintain accurate customer records
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customer billing inquiries
- Communicate professionally with vendors and manage related documentation
- Oversee daily office operations and administrative workflows
- Maintain organized digital and physical records
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency
Qualifications
- 3+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or accounting management experience (full-cycle experience strongly preferred)
- Payroll processing experience required
- Strong working knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks or similar)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel experience preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills and customer-service mindset
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting, Business, or related field
- Experience working in a small business or family-owned company
- Prior responsibility for both accounting and office management functions
