    Position

    O

    verview:

    The

    Senior Accountant

    is

    responsible for

    preparing various monthly

    journal entries and

    accruals

    in accordance

    with

    GAAP and company financial policy

    ,

    as well as analyzing business data to support

    Optima's

    overall business

    goals and objectives

    .

    This

    position will

    closely

    partner with

    other

    business

    functions

    to appropriately account for and drive day to day operations within

    Corporate

    .

    candidate will be expected to gain an understanding of

    how Corporate supports

    the business

    and participate in

    various

    initiatives to

    make continuous improvement in business practice.
    Key R

    esponsibilities:

    The

    Senior Accountant

    , Corporate Accounting

    will be responsible of the following:

    Reviewing intercompany loan and related interest accounts to ensure proper elimination in global financial

    statements;

    Recording of monthly intercompany loan interest.
    Preparing consolidated intercompany


    AR AP
    reports for the Shared Service Team;

    Highlighting

    issues and

    ensuring resolution

    for final issuance.
    Maintain

    ing

    fixed asset and depreciation

    activities in BNA for both US and international entities
    Entering new leases within lease accounting tool
    Completion and review of

    assigned

    monthly, quarterly, and annual journal

    entries
    Prepar

    ation of

    monthly account reconciliations, flux analysis, and reporting requirements
    Serving as Treasury backup as needed (e.g. recording daily cash payments)
    Provide accounting

    and analytical

    support for FP&A

    and other business

    functions
    Liaise with Americas/International accounting

    teams
    Prepare various monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for

    internal and

    external reporting

    , as well as

    audit

    requests
    Provide year-end audit

    support
    Ad hoc projects
    Skills and Qualifications

    Accounting

    or

    Finance
