    Description

    The College of Fine Arts at the University of Texas at Austin offers a unique opportunity for professional development in teaching, creative practice and research. This is a non-tenure track faculty position available periodically for those interested in teaching and who have the potential to contribute to the development of academic programs and creative activity in all areas of Fine Arts.

    Compensation

    The estimated salary for this position is $50,000 - $70,000 per year, contingent on funding and experience. As an adjunct/contingent faculty member, your compensation will be commensurate with your qualifications and the number of courses you teach.

    This is a temporary/adjunct/contingent faculty position. Anticipated starting dates may be either mid-August or beginning of January.

    Responsibilities

    • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Fine Arts
    • Contribute to the development of academic programs and creative activity in Fine Arts
    • Collaborate with other faculty members on research and creative projects

    Qualifications

    To be considered for this position, you must have an outstanding academic record, significant achievement in original research/creative activity/exhibition record, and a commitment to quality teaching. You should also be willing to work collaboratively with other faculty members and contribute to the growth and development of the College of Fine Arts.
